Piribek-Team wedding
Courtney Rachel Piribek of Peachtree City, GA. and Robert Alston Team III of Newport Beach, CA. were united in marriage on April 9, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charleston, S.C. Reverend Daniel Flessas conducted the service.
The bride is the daughter of Col. John Martin Piribek of Peachtree City, GA and Ms. Susan Howes Piribek of Lexington, VA. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Karen Constantine Howes of Cocoa, FL; the late Dr. Thomas Howes of Morgantown, WV; and the late Mr. Martin Piribek and Mrs. Rachel Cadzow Piribek of Morgantown, WV.
She attended Elon University, and graduated from The University of Northern Colorado. She is employed with Pyramid Peaks at Newport Coast Surgery Center in Newport Beach, CA.
The groom is the son of Robert Alston Team, Jr. and Katherine Forehand Team of Lexington, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Dr. John F. Williams and Katherine Coleman Williams of Atlanta, GA.; Dr. Robert Alston Team of Lexington, N.C. and the late Marjorie Ferrell Team.
He is a graduate of Elon University with a degree in Business. He is a Property Manager at LNR Property in Newport Beach, CA.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory, silk, chiffon dress by Elizabeth Filmore. She wore a cathedral veil and carried a bouquet of gardenias.
Attending as maid of honor was the bride's sister, Emily Karen Piribek of Lexington, VA.
The bridesmaids were friends of the bride; Miss Melissa Ellen Johnson of Atlanta, GA; Miss Kelly Meredith Brantley of Charlotte, N.C.; Miss Suzannah Lee Glover of Johns Island, S.C.; Mrs. Abigail Ireland of Niceville, FL; Miss Shannon Leigh Jennings of Burlington, N.C.; Miss Elizabeth Anne Madigan of Charleston, S.C.; and Miss Mary Elizabeth Pope of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The best men were Robert Alston Team Jr., the groom's father of Lexington, N.C. and Alexander Coleman Team, the groom's brother of Winston-Salem, N.C.
Groomsmen were friends of the groom; Mr. David Bryant Madison of Winston-Salem, NC; Mr. Carson Nathan Copeland of Charlotte, NC; Mr. Matthew Lawrence Simeon of Washington, D.C.; Mr. Bert Hylton Early of Park City, Utah; Mr. Matthew Kendrick Welborn of Lexington, N.C.; and the bride's brother, Mr. John Thomas Piribek of Lexington VA.
The flower girls were Elinor Kelly, the groom's cousin of Charlotte, N.C. and Allison McHenry, the bride's cousin of Sarasota, FL. The ring bearer was Sam Kelly, the groom's cousin of Charlotte, NC.

Today is cold and wet again the type of day where I don't want to go anywhere but alas that wasn't the case after getting up at 8am and ironing Tim's work shirts my mum sends me a text asking if I wanted to go to the nursing home with her and of course I said I would.........so we have been over and seen nan, she look ok she was in one of the big blue chairs sleeping which is what she does most of the time now days. Now I am home and it feels like I am home alone although I am not as Tim is in bed sleeping he worked last night and I have no idea when he got home but do know that I have to wake him at midday. When I got back from the nursing home Jessica and Leo had gone out her car is here so she must have gone out with her sister. So the house is nice and quite and it feels good not to have Leo running around making a heap of noise.
Glad to hear that you are feeling a little better now. Families get very complicated now, don't they, which is a shame really. My friend is a teacher up in London, and they had to stop making Family Trees, because the children were saying things like, "oh, is he your dad now. He used to be my dad!" Glad you had a quiet day yesterday. Fortunately, it is warm and sunny today here in Devon, and I am having a very relaxing day after all the activity of the weekend. Take care.
