The West Windsor Arts Council's Arts outdoor gallery will feature some of the most promising young artisans of the community in an exhibition from 9:00 to 1:00 tomorrow at the West Windsor Community Farmers Market.
The exhibition is organized by a team of professors of the art department of West Windsor-Plainsbor schools, moderated by art teacher, Tina Carr. Contributing artists from the local primary school and the community. Works of art made with pastels and tempera paint, ranging from self-portraits and landscapes.

The Princeton Garden Statesmen (PGS) barbershop chorus will present its 42nd annual show, “It’s a Brand New Day,” at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Rider University’s Yvonne Theater in Lawrence.
Each year since 1969, PGS has brought a distinctive American art form, a cappella barbershop harmony, to life on stage. As the centerpiece of a program of new arrangements and music from many decades, this year’s show includes two special features: the introduction of the chorus’s new music Director, Jack Pinto, and a special guest quartet, Frank the Dog, which has qualified to compete in the 2011 Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention in Kansas City, Mo., for the second consecutive year.

The work of 23 artists and the art therapists who work with them will be showcased from Sunday tthrough June 31 at the Pebble Hill Gallery in Doylestown, Pa.. An opening reception takes place Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
The exhibit provides an intimate look at the artists’ inner landscapes as they have moved beyond words into profound transformation. Most art works were created during individual and group art therapy sessions at Alchemy Open Studio, a therapeutic arts center in Doylestown.
The nonprofit organization provides a haven for self-expression, empowerment, community development through the arts.
Rene Bures, founder of Alchemy Open Studio and Executive Director, will show several of his own pieces inspired by its customers and the risks they took in sharing their lives this way. Other featured artists include John Muraco, art therapist at the KidsPeace National Hospital, and Rebecca Arnold, certified art therapist in private practice and instructor of art therapy at Cedar Crest College.

Regarding the train track crossing repairs on Washington Street, the railroad as here long before the roads were. No matter whether we like it or not, the railroads do whatever they want because the government takes care of them.
The trust hopes to have the building ready for visitors by the Old Fashioned Country Christmas celebration in early December. The Plaza will soon welcome another new building that will house the Cimarron Valley Railroad Museum.
