How old is David Phelps?
If there are any fans of David Phelps here, has anyone been to a concert or seen a DVD where David mentions how age? I know that he is married and has four beautiful children, but I have yet to know how old he is. He has to be between 20 and 40 for sure. Joined the Gaither Vocal Band in 1996 and left in 2004 and has now returned to meeting at the Tour. Thanks in advance!
the 40 singer and songwriter David Phelps was born Norris October 21, 1969 in Texas to Gene and Mary Ella Phelps. Gene is a former accountant / banker who now teaches business and finance at a university in Houston. Mary She is a former English teacher. He has two older sisters, Sherri Proctor (who sings backing vocals for him when he visits) and Kari Lee (a professional trumpet player based travel Millar Brass Joint Chicago.) Grew up in Tomball, Texas near Houston and graduated from Tomball High School in 1988. He graduated from Baylor University in 1992 with a degree music and vocal performance. David is a lyric tenor as a mark of its range, especially his ability to sing in a high tessitura for extended periods. Live recordings, either by itself or with the Gaithers, indicate that it has more than three octave full voice. In the first verse of "Just As I Am" on the album "Revelation" David sings a E2. This is attested by the live performances. During a performance of "When God dips his love in my heart," which cleverly sings an F5, full voice, and hold it for a significant period of time. During his time with the Band Gaither Vocal Band, high tessitura was used often. He was introduced to Bill Gaither and Mark Lowry, who was (and is now again) the baritone in the group. Lowry Gaither Phelps brought a tape. During a performance of "Let Freedom Ring" who skillfully sings a C # 5 in full voice. David is once again, since approximately January 13, 2009, part of the Banda de Gaither Vocal Band. He shares the tenor with Wes Hampton.
