Toft Dairy Debuts New Sherbet Flavors, Carton Design

Sandusky, OH . . . New Toft’s taste-quenching sherbets in striking new cartons are appearing in grocers’ freezers. The newest flavors from Ohio’s oldest operating dairy include: a jucier, creamier Orange, a lime/orange/raspberry Rainbow, a black, red and blue Triple Raspberry and a mango/watermelon/pineapple Tropical.

Charlie Dalton, Toft’s National Accounts Manager, predicts long-term success. “The four new flavor profiles and carton designs tested well. Plus, market acceptance among both chains and independents keeps growing, even after our initial introductory promotion. Of course everybody has his or her favorite flavor, but the biggest seller out of the gate has been Triple Raspberry”, Dalton said.

Toft Dairy is the only locally/family owned and operated dairy on Lake Erie between Cleveland and Toledo, and the oldest operating dairy in the state. The company purchases its milk - free of synthetic growth hormones - from 22 local family dairy farms, all members of the Sandusky Cooperative Milk Producers Association.
